Studio FIG is an interior design and interior architecture studio crafting considered, characterful spaces with a focus on timeless design, sustainability, and artisanal quality. Founded by Flora Gossage, who studied History of Art at Edinburgh University and trained at the renowned Sibyl Colefax & John Fowler in London, the studio brings a nuanced understanding of art, architecture, and decorative heritage to every project.
Now based in Lisbon, Portugal, Studio FIG draws inspiration from both British and Southern European influences. The studio’s work is timeless and distinctive, marked by acute attention to detail.
Current and past projects include a private summer house in Portugal and a design focused residential development in Walthamstow, each closely tailored to the client’s lifestyle and vision, resulting in layered spaces that reflect a strong sense of place, purpose, and personality.

Interior Architecture

Interior Design
Our design process begins with a strong concept and evolves through collaboration. We develop moodboards, finishes palettes, bespoke joinery and lighting schemes. Each element carefully considered to reflect the client’s vision. The result is a cohesive interior that feels personal, timeless, and rooted in place.
FF&E
We curate every detail of a space with an acute attention to detail, from paint and hardware to furniture and textiles. With a mix of antique and contemporary pieces, we build layered interiors that feel collected and lived in. Each item is chosen not just for aesthetics, but for its role in telling the story of the space.
